Bouquets/ Vase Arrangement

Our bouquets and vase arrangements feature an assortment of florals hand-tied in an elegant spiral.

  1. 1.

Place flowers in a clean container.

A clean container that is sanitized and free of debris will keep the flowers from premature aging and the stems from getting clogged, which will result in better water intake.

  2. 2.

Remove flowers from packaging. Trim stems, from the bottom approximately 3-5cm at a 45° angle before transfer them into the vase.

The stems of the flowers most likely dried out some during their journey to your home, exposing fresh tissue will help them be able to take up water better. Be sure to use clean and sharp scissor or pruners for a clean cut. Cutting stems at a 45° angle gives them more fresh surface area to absorb the water and replenish themselves.

  1. 3.

Remove any foliage that will sit below the water line.

Removing the foliage is important as they tend to rot when submerged in water; it makes the water icky and stinky. Keeping the water foliage-free will keep the water clear and fresher longer.

  2. 4.

Place in a cool environment. Avoid direct sunlight and heat.

While many flowers love the sun when they're growing, cut flowers are different! The sunlight will signal the flowers to further mature resulting in less of a lifespan.

  3. 5.

Don't place flowers near ripening fruit or vegetables, such as bananas or apples.

The release of ethylene from the fruits/veggies accelerates the aging process and eventually causes the flowers to wilt faster.

  4. 6.

Change water in the vase once every 2 days. Repeat step 2 above.

If you notice the water in your vase is becoming cloudy, clean the vase again and refill it with fresh water. Even if the water looks great, it's good practice to change your flowers' water every other day. And don't forget to add new flower food!

Your flowers arrived with a flower food packet. Spread this out over a few uses. To make homemade flower food, you can use a combination of citric acid, sugar, and bleach. A basic recipe to keep handy: 1 quart clean water + 2 tablespoons lemon juice + 1 tablespoon sugar + ½ teaspoon bleach.

Approximate Longevity: 3 - 5 days under the above conditions.

Flower Boxes/ baskets

Our signature flower boxes/baskets consist of seasonal blooms with stunning colour palettes and unique floral arrangements, carefully curated and crafted to our exacting standards.

  1. 1.

The flowers have been hand arranged in an oasis block; please do not remove stems from the foam.

  2. 2.

On arrival, check that the block is moist. To prolong the life of your arrangement add water into the container every 2 to 3 days.

  3. 3.

Place in a cool environment. Avoid direct sunlight and heat.

While many flowers love the sun when they're growing, cut flowers are different! The sunlight will signal the flowers to further mature resulting in less of a lifespan.

  4. 4.

Don't place flowers near ripening fruit or vegetables, such as bananas or apples.

The release of ethylene from the fruits/veggies can affect the flowers and cause them to wilt and wither away much faster.

Approximate Longevity: 3 - 5 days under the above conditions.
